 First spin and it’s yet another act on the ’80s NYC/Euro synth-disco bandwagon. A second listen yields comparisons with Frankmusik, Holy Ghost!, a less cheesy Calvin Harris, and even George Michael. Misgivings aside, Chris Glover has done the rounds in the music industry (he was in a fake boy band and a school gospel choir with Alicia Keys), and in his latest guise, he should break out. Not the most revolutionary release out there, but this penguin does deserve a lil’ love.
